Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Illela, Sokoto State. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant ₦140,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
