Press shop operator — Baruten

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Baruten, Kwara State. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
