VMC operator — Cass County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Cass County, Texas. Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
