We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turner in Polk County, Iowa. The job is in a tool room. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts.
