Furnace operator wanted in Quitman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Quitman County, Georgia. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
