Elevator service technician — Ikorodu

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The job is at a busy lift company. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
