Hydraulic crane operator — Fluvanna County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
