Now hiring: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Imperial County, California. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
