Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Mitchell County, Iowa. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear.
