Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Lea County, New Mexico. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day to day you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses.
