We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Kossuth County, Iowa. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation 4+ years on the tools preferred.
