Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Garfield County, Colorado. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
