Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Erath County, Texas. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area 2+ years on the tools preferred.
