Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Carroll County, Ohio. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
