Immediate opening: roofing technician (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Southend-on-Sea, England. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Your main tasks: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Six days a week, one day off.
