Furnace operator wanted in Mahnomen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
