Bodywork technician — Ogle County

Join our team: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Ogle County, Illinois. You will work in a collision repair centre. You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Day to day you will read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
