Foundry worker — Pike County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Pike County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 6+ years on the tools preferred.
