Reinforcement fitter — Union County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Union County, South Dakota. The job is at a high-rise construction project. The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
