Power float operator — Deuel County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Deuel County, South Dakota. The job is on a building construction site. You will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Part-time with flexible hours.
