Bakery assistant wanted in Dundee City

Now hiring: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Dundee City, Scotland. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £1,950 per month, based on your experience.
