Power press operator — Hamlin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Hamlin County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $6,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
