MIG welder — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jackson County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
