Immediate opening: bricklayer (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day-to-day duties: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
