Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Val Verde County, Texas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
