PVC window assembler — Miami County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Miami County, Indiana. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day-to-day duties: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
