Horizontal milling machine operator — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jefferson County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Performance bonus on top of base pay.
