Rebar worker • Deuel County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Deuel County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
