Brick mason — Sheffield

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Sheffield, England. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser 5+ years on the tools preferred.
