Fabricator-welder — Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Grant County, New Mexico. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
