Paint booth operator — Solihull

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Solihull, England. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. You should have: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens You will top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
