Concrete pump mate — Butler County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Butler County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing We offer $220 per day plus benefits.
