Argon arc welder — Perry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
