Scaffolder • Funtua, Katsina State

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolder in Funtua, Katsina State. You will be based at a shipyard. Day to day you will lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely. What we are looking for: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
