Plasterer's mate — Lyon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Lyon County, Kansas. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Day to day you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
