Vacancy available: groundsman (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundsman in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. On a typical shift you will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
