Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Perry County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
