Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Madera County, California. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service. Ideal candidate: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
