Digger driver wanted in Wilkes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Wilkes County, North Carolina. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Full-time, day shift. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
