Stitching operator wanted in King George County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in King George County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
