Fabrication workshop technician • Franklin County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Franklin County, Alabama. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day-to-day duties: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
