Heavy equipment operator — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a stone quarry. The role involves: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
