Machine setter-operator — Saint Landry Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
