Day to day you will wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. You should have: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
