Stamping press operator wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Franklin County, Kansas. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
