UPVC window fitter — Saint Charles Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
