Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Washington County, Vermont. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
