Confectioner — Glasgow City

Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Glasgow City, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Full-time with occasional weekends.
