Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in Amelia County, Virginia. You will work at a haulage company. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day-to-day duties: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Performance bonus on top of base pay.
