Die-casting operator — DeKalb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in DeKalb County, Indiana. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture.
